Privacy policy
This document describes what data we collect, what we use it for and how we protect it — both on boolean.ge and in our mobile applications.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Who processes the data
Boolean LLC (შპს „ბულენი") (ID 402045666), Tbilisi 0159, Digomi massif, IV block, bldg. 13, apt. 10. Contact: info@boolean.ge, tel. +995 577 92 30 31.
An important clarification: our applications are corporate tools. They are used by employees of the companies that have implemented the system. In that arrangement the data belongs to the employing company, which is the controller; we act on that company’s instructions — that is, as a processor rather than an owner of the data.
2. What the mobile application collects
The application is built for employees working in the field and collects only what the job requires:
- Account data — the user name and identifying details. The account is created by the employing company; users do not register themselves.
- Location (GPS) — read only at the moment the employee presses the button to start or end a visit, in order to confirm proximity to the outlet. The application does not monitor location in the background — it does not record position on its own, whether open or closed.
- Photographs — pictures of products and shelves taken by the employee for merchandising reports.
- Work data — visits, orders, documents, tasks and their completion status.
- Technical data — device model, operating system and application version — used solely to keep the software working correctly.
- Notification identifier — the device token through which the application receives push notifications. The token relates to the device, not to a person.
The application does not collect: contacts, SMS messages, call history, browsing history or payment card details.
3. What the website collects
- Contact form — name, company, email, phone and the message text. These details are used only to answer your enquiry.
- Visit statistics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify visitors. We see only aggregate figures: pages viewed, country, device type.
- Server logs — technical records the web server keeps automatically.
4. What we use the data for
- Running the system — processing visits, orders and reporting.
- Preparing reports for the employing company.
- Answering your enquiry, if you submitted the form.
- Keeping the software working correctly and securely.
We do not use the data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.
5. Who we share data with
- The employing company — an employee’s work data is available to the employer that implemented the system.
- The hosting provider — data is stored on the server we use to deliver the service.
- Authorities, where the law requires it — to a competent body when Georgian legislation so demands.
6. Third-party services
Certain features rely on external services. When they are used, part of the data is processed by the respective provider under its own policy:
- Google Maps (Google LLC) — displaying the map and building the route to an outlet. Location data is passed to the service so the map renders correctly.
- Firebase (Google LLC) — delivery of push notifications and application infrastructure. The device token and the notification text are passed to the service.
- Push notifications — used for work messages: a new task, a visit reminder, system information. We do not send marketing notifications. They can be switched off in the device settings.
Because these services belong to Google, part of the data may be processed outside Georgia. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
The application does not use crash-reporting or advertising systems.
7. How long we keep data
Work data is kept for as long as the contract with the employing company is in force, or until that company requests deletion. Details received through the contact form are kept until the correspondence ends and for a reasonable period thereafter.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Access is restricted by role — each user sees only the information they are entitled to.
9. Your rights
You have the right to request:
- information about what data we hold about you;
- correction of inaccurate data;
- deletion of your data;
- restriction of processing.
Send your request to info@boolean.ge. We reply within the period set by law. If you are an employee of a client company, we coordinate the request with your employer, since the data belongs to them.
The detailed procedure is set out on a separate page: Data deletion request.
10. Account deletion
Accounts in the Boolean application are created by the employing company. There is no self-registration in the application, and for that reason an account cannot be deleted from inside the application either.
To have your account and the data associated with it deleted, write to info@boolean.ge from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. The full procedure — what to state in the request and what is deleted — is set out on the Data deletion request page.
We confirm receipt within 3 working days. Because work data belongs to the employing company, we coordinate the deletion with that company. Once it is agreed, the account is deleted and your personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days, where possible.
Some information may be retained beyond that period where it is required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or other legitimate business purposes. For example, deleting an account does not delete orders, waybills, invoices, transaction records or support correspondence where those records must be kept for financial, operational, legal or tax reasons. Where it is technically possible, personal identifiers are removed from such records.
11. Children
Our products are corporate tools and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
12. Changes
When the policy is updated, the date on this page changes. We notify separately about substantive changes.
