Home Distribution Tasks

A task that does not get lost in a verbal agreement

What work is needed in which shop is written in the system, tied to that outlet, and its completion is recorded.

The problem

Something every company deals with

Most instructions travel by word of mouth or through a messenger: “straighten the display in that shop”, “there is expired stock there, check it”. Such a task is recorded nowhere — whether it was done usually becomes clear only at the next visit.

In the system a task is attached to the outlet and appears to the agent when they arrive there — exactly when doing it is possible.

How it works

The life of a task

Who creates it

The supervisor creates tasks for the team or for a named agent. Agents can create them too — for example when they spot a problem that needs handling on the next visit.

What it contains

The outlet, a description of the work and a deadline. Because it is bound to a specific shop, it surfaces during the visit.

How it closes

The agent marks it done within the visit. The supervisor sees which tasks are closed, which are still open and which are overdue.

Typical uses

What tasks are used for

Merchandising work

Straightening the shelf, tidying the display, placing promotional material at a specific outlet.

Checking a problem

Inspecting and recording expired or damaged goods in a shop where an issue was flagged on the previous visit.

Receivables

Clarifying the debt at an outlet or reminding the customer about payment during the visit.

Introducing a new product

Presenting a specific range at selected outlets as part of a campaign.
